Peter Kranske – President/Chief Operating Officer

                                  One of the true pioneers of the crowd management
industry, for nearly four decades Pete was an
owner and officer of Contemporary Services
Corporation, during which time he was
responsible for the field operations for thousands
of events at venues throughout the United States.
He has developed and directed security and
crowd management programs almost every
type of sporting and entertainment event imaginable.
While his resume is too voluminous to list here,
some of the highlights of his career have
been: creating the original security plan
for the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre; directing the security and
crowd management operation for the 1984 Jackson Victory Tour,
and serving on the security staff for the Van Halen and Run
DMC rock tours; directing the security and crowd management
operation for the “US 93” concert with over one million people
attending; managing or directing the crowd management
operations for over a thousand concerts; directing the crowd
management operations for 29 consecutive Super Bowls;
and, developing the crowd management and security program
for five U.S. venues for World Cup 1994 and the Women’s
World Cup 1999 in Los Angeles. Pete has developed the crowd
management and security plan for numerous new or remodeled 
stadiums and arenas over the years. After September 11, 2001,
Pete was appointed by the NFL to the Commissioner’s Task Force
on Best Practices for Stadium Security, and was asked to Chair
the NFL Stadium Security Training Sub-Committee. In that position
he led and provided the major input into the NFL Best Practices
training program which is in place today. He was inducted into the
Event Industry Hall of Fame in 2004. 

Michael Harrison – Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officer

Mike brings a unique and varied perspective to Landmark, with extensive
experience in crowd management operations, venue operations
and legal matters. After graduating from law school, Mike was in
private practice as a business litigator. Subsequently he was
named Vice President and General Counsel to Contemporary Services
Corporation with responsibility for all contractual and liability matters.
At this time Mike developed policies and documentation systems
to protect CSC and its clients from undue liability. He managed outside
counsel on over 70 active cases per year, as well as handling all
insurance matters, employment issues, contracts, administrative
hearings, acquisitions, corporate formalities and oversight of
any and all non-insurance related corporate litigation. Mike was then
appointed Deputy Commissioner of the Continental Indoor Soccer
League, a major professional indoor soccer league, and also served
on the national board of directors of the United States Soccer Federation.
Mike left the soccer world and took the position of Vice
President/General Manager of Lakeside Sports and Entertainment,
for which he managed the Lake Elsinore Diamond, home of
the then-Angel affiliate Lake Elsinore Storm. Mike directed all
operations of the facility, promoted numerous events, including
major concerts (including artists as varied as ZZ Top, the Righteous
Brothers and P.O.D.) and festivals and the California League/Carolina
League All Star game, and negotiated and executed detailed
concessions and tenant lease agreements. Mike also directed the
planning for the development of the retail, commercial and recreational
areas surrounding the ballpark. In 2000, Mike returned to CSC as the
company’s Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, part of the small
senior management team with daily oversight of company operations.
Mike was responsible for new business development, client
matters, new branch openings and revamping of under performing
branches. Mike also had operational responsibilities, with direct
oversight of several markets nationwide, including such clients
as the White River Amphitheatre, Everett Events Center, Seattle
Seahawks, University of Washington, RCA Dome/Indiana Convention
Center, San Francisco 49ers, the Cow Palace, SMU, TCU and others.
Mike has served on both the allied and public policy and public affairs
committees of the International Association of Assembly Managers.



Grant Haskell, Vice President Operations

Grant Haskell began his career in event staffing in 1983 at Boise State
University working concerts, football and basketball in conjunction with his
service in the United States Army. In 1987, after graduating Boise State,
Grant was promoted to its peer group security manager, with responsibility for
managing all staff for collegiate sports and special events, with the vast
majority of his work involving concerts. Grant also managed the staffing
for concerts at the Boise River Festival and the Western Idaho Fair In 1995,
Grant moved to Seattle, where he joined Contemporary Services Corporation.
After just a few events, Grant was moved into the office as the scheduler.
Shortly afterward he was promoted to Assistant Manager. In 1999 Grant was
named Seattle Branch Manager. As the branch manager he oversaw the
management of such accounts as the Everett Events Center, Seattle
Seahawks, Seattle Center, University of Washington, White River
Amphitheatre, Seafair, Bumbershoot, Summer Night concert series,
Experience Music Project (including the creation and management of
the security program for the vast grand opening concert-four days, seven
stages), the Frye Museum and many other concerts and miscellaneous
events. Grant also managed many smaller events in and around the Puget
Sound. Grant also has traveled to provide services to numerous major events
around the country and was part of the crowd management team for nine
Super Bowls and the Pro Bowl. Grant’s concert experience encompasses just
about every major touring artist of the last 20 years, including a range of
Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Rolling Stones, Queen, U2, REM, Lilith Fair,
Metallica, Judas Priest, Ozzfest, Alice in Chains, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks,
Alabama and Vince Gill. In 2006 Grant joined Landmark Event Staffing
Services Inc. as its Vice President of Operations. Since joining Landmark,
Grant has overseen the operations at such venues as the Cal Berkeley
Stadium and Arena, and the McAfee Coliseum and Oakland Arena in Oakland.
Grant is a certified TEAM trainer. 

 

 

 

 

Lynne Saunders, Adviser to the President

Saunders has over 30 years experience in strategic planning, organization,
and direction of Security and Crowd Management. He has established
industry training standards and curriculum in these areas, including
video training materials. He has over 30 years experience leading
the security planning and execution at nearly 20 venues including
amphitheaters, stadiums and arenas. In 1975, Lynne was appointed
President and CEO of Stadium Motor Sports Corporation, producers
of major motor sports events at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum,
Anaheim Stadium, Golden Gate Field, Long Beach Arena and Atlanta
Fulton County Stadium. Three years added to his duties the title of
Assistant General Manager of the California Surf (NASL Professional
Soccer Team). He subsequently became the President and General
Manager of the Detroit Lightning Soccer Team of the MISL. Lynne’s
30-year association with Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC)
began in 1972, when he was with Stadium Motor Sports Corporation
and later with the California Surf. During this period, CSC was hired
to provide event staffing for these companies. Lynne also worked with 
CSC during his tenure as the original security manager for the Irvine
Meadows Amphitheatre (now Verizon Wireless). After returning from
Detroit, Lynne was hired by CSC as their General Manager. In 1987,
he was asked to reorganize and prototype CSC’s newly acquired crowd
management venture in Washington, D.C./Maryland. In 1991, Lynne
was asked to move to San Francisco to oversee the Bay Area operations
for CSC, including such clients as the San Francisco 49ers, University of
California at Berkeley, San Jose State University, Sears Point raceway,
the Gilroy Garlic Festival and World Cup Soccer. Lynne was also retained
by the Sonoma County Crushers (minor league team in the Western
Baseball League). Lynne directed the renovation of the baseball
stadium in Rohnert Park and then managed the day-to-day operations
of the stadium. He continued to consult in the crowd management
and security industry with CSC and others. In 1997, CSC asked Lynne
to oversee a newly created region which included branch offices in
Memphis; Nashville; Washington D.C.; Maryland; Pittsburgh;
Philadelphia; West Virginia; Holmdel, NJ; Foxboro, MA; and Cincinnati.
Mr. Saunders continued to provide security consulting services for the
San Francisco 49ers and the University of California at Berkeley at the
same time. This region provided security services to numerous
amphitheaters, arenas, universities and six NFL Franchises. Lynne has
also been extensively involved with the strategic event staff planning
for eighteen (18) NFL Super Bowl games.
